Dawna began her career in 1994 as an Exchange and Marketing Assistant with a large title company located in Irvine, California. She quickly grew within the position by expanding her computer, marketing and 1031 exchange expertise.

In 1999 Dawna brought those talents as well as her experience with 1031 exchanges to the family business, Spectrum Exchange Corp. She has played an important role in providing exceptional service and expanding the company as the President’s “right hand woman” or “second in command”.

In 2003, when Spectrum Exchange Corp. relocated to Sedona, Arizona, Dawna had the rare opportunity to move to Maui, Hawaii. There she gained other real estate experience by obtaining her Hawaii State Real Estate License while assisting two top producing real estate agents. She also worked as a Residential Loan Officer gaining invaluable experience about the financing end of real estate transactions. During the two years she spent in Hawaii, Dawna educated her peers on 1031 exchanges and continued to market Spectrum Exchange Corp.

In March of 2005, Dawna was persuaded to come back to the main office full time as Assistant Vice President. Spectrum’s existing client base continued to grow after the move to Sedona and the local market boomed. Since business had effectively doubled, her talents were badly needed. So once again, Dawna is “second in command” and being groomed to eventually take over the entire business!
